Revitalization Zones

In the summer of 2013 the New Hampshire Department of Resources and Economic Development approved three Economic Revitalization Zones within the Town of Northfield.  Businesses located in ER Zones are eligible for tax credits applied against their business profits tax and business enterprise tax for investments they make that create jobs.

Tax credits are capped at $40,000 per year and $200,000 over five years.

The three Northfield ER Zones consist of 332 acres along Rt. 140 that includes the Northfield Industrial Park and the Riverside Business Park, 58 acres in the center of town encompassing the Forrest Road industrial development and Exit 19 area, and a 141 acre tract of commercial/industrial land along Scribner Road.
