Police Chief Public Forum

Northfield Police Chief resident forum is being held on Monday April 10th @ 6pm at Town Hall.

This is an opportunity for residents to meet and ask questions of the final two remaining candidates for the Northfield Police Chief position. This forum will be moderated by Town Moderator Scott McGuffin.

After the forum, the Selectmen will ask the residents their thoughts and comments on the remaining two candidates, but the final hiring decisions will be made by the Northfield Board of Selectmen at a later date and time.

We hope this is an informative opportunity in which residents are able to ask questions related to the Town of Northfield and get a feel for the remaining two candidates who may become the Northfield Chief of Police.

AGENDA

1.     Open meeting at 6:00 p.m.

2.    Pledge of Allegiance 

3.    The Moderator sets the forum conditions.

4.    Pat Sullivan “NH Chiefs of Police Association” speaks on Police Chief Hiring Process.

5.    Candidates each have 5 minutes of Introduction time.

6.    Moderator opens questions and comment period. 1 hour max.

7.    Moderator Closes Forum

8.    Candidates are dismissed at this time.

9.    Selectmen hear and discuss with Town Residents comments/concerns.

10.    Adjournment 7:30 pm
