PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE FORMULA STUDY COMMITTEE

The Winnisquam Regional School Board will conduct a public information meeting on the recommendations of the Formula Study Committee to the Articles of Agreement on February 13, 2024, in the Winnisquam Regional Middle School Cafeteria starting at 6:30 PM.  

The Formula Study Committee recommends adjusting the apportionment formula over a period of 5 years to 75% average daily membership (ADM) and 25% equalized valuation (EV), to read as follows:

The operating and capital expenses of the Winnisquam Regional School District payable in each fiscal year shall be apportioned based on average daily membership (“ADM”) of the pupils residing in each pre-existing district of the cooperative school district as most currently determined by the State Department of Education and equalized valuation (“EV”) as most currently determined by the State Department of Revenue Administration as follows:

PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED SCHOOL BUDGET

The Winnisquam Regional Budget Committee will conduct a public hearing on the proposed school budget for 2024-2025 on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the Winnisquam Regional Middle School in the school cafeteria at 7:00 PM.
