The Town of Northfield has implemented a Pay As You Throw program at the Transfer Station. Residents will be allowed to bring bags during normal business hours. This program is for those who may have excess trash over and above what is allowed at the curbside. 

Disposal of bag fee is $5.00

Cash or Check accepted; a $25.00 fee will be assessed for any bounced checks and future payments by check will not be allowed. 

Bags can only contain regular household trash; hazardous materials, construction and demo are not allowed. 

You must see the attendant prior to dumping in the designated dumpster. Any unauthorized dumping will be subject to the fines and penalties specified in the Illegal Dumping Ordinance.
