ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED AT THE RECYCLING FACILITY

• Household Garbage – The Town of Northfield pays for curbside collection.
• Stumps, Lot Clearing Materials, Logs or Tree Parts Exceeding 5” in Diameter.
• Motor Vehicles, Boats or Parts Thereof - Contact a local salvage yard for disposal.
• Construction / Demolition Material – Must make arrangements with a licensed hauler or disposal location.
• Household Hazardous Waste – such as explosives, gasoline, turpentine, oil-based paints, cleaning fluids, caustics, poisons, liquid asphalt, pesticides, herbicides or their products, or highly volatile products.
• Asbestos, Infectious Waste – such as pathological/biological waste and/or animal remains.
• Sludge or Septic Waste, Radioactive Waste – Must make arrangements with a licensed disposal facility.  
• Any Material Which the Attendant considers to be hazardous, unacceptable waste or detrimental to the operation of the facility.
